London Fog? by Dan Grogan

San Diego and New Orleans square off this week in London and this matchup features a number of players with great fantasy upside. These two teams can score almost at will so we should see a shoot-out. Right?
Maybe, but might the long flight and the disruption of the routine have an impact? It appeared to have last year when the Giants and Dolphins hooked up in the U.K. The game was lackluster at best.
New York won 13-10, but the Giants came into the contest having averaged 33 points in their previous three games. Eli Manning completed just 8 of 22 passes for 59 yards and no scores against Miami, but Brandon Jacobs might have caught a sleepy Miami defense off-guard as he ran for a the-season-high 131 yards.
Although the Dolphins hadn’t won a game at that point they had scored 31 and 28 points in their previous two games before the London trip. In their defense, Cleo Lemon was at QB and Ronnie Brown had been put on IR the week before with a knee injury.
